Unfortunately, one of our customers had a fire in their Spa recently and the majority of the equipment was ruined. The customer came into our Connecticut office with one of our Microderms that she had purchased a few years back.

A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to attend the launch of the “recently relocated” Skin For Life training center in Atlanta. As part of the locally acclaimed Om Magie Spa, the training center provides a wide variety of classes on a weekly basis with a distinctive ambience. The Spa itself is renowned for its elegant finishing and extravagant setting, but the owner, Magie and her knowledgeable employees, made me feel not like I was at home but rather like I was a Sultan visiting his distant palace.

While the color scheme at Skin For Life has been green for a very long time now, we've finally decided to take our green image to a whole new level by embarking on a “going green” program.

While I am not an esthetician, I’ve been familiar with the nue wave system for quite some time now. However, when I actually sat down to think about our LED light therapy equipment, I figured out I knew practically nothing about the technology – simply the specifications of our equipment and that it “helps your skin.” Well obviously it helps your skin – but how?! So, I did a little perusing through our product manuals and whatnot and here’s what I came up with.

Any order over $150 we can ship to Canada with no customs duty passed on to the customer!

Recently we procured a warehouse facility in Ontario whereby we can store and ship our Skin For Life products. The benefit to Canadian customers is that there is no customs duty because we are shipping from inside the country.

We are excited about having this facility and we look forward to building a strong presence in Canada.

The Skin For Life Distribution Center is located in Brooksville, FL, just north of Tampa. This facility was constructed within the last year to meet the increasing demand for our product line. State of the art packaging systems and new assembly equipment was incorporated into the design to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

My name is Shawn Ellis-Johnson. I have been an aesthetician for over 15 years and a sales rep/educator for 5. I am a full-time educator and sales rep with Skin For Life. I have a Training Center/Showroom in Austin, Texas. The showroom in Austin is equipped with all of the Skin For Life Equipment, as well as supplies and our premier skincare products. I receive much positive feedback from clients and students about having a showroom where they can come and get “hands-on” training, and experience all of our equipment and products in a treatment room setting.
